This Temple remains open for devotee round the year, however, from Mar to June and From Sep to November month are the months of mass arrival of vistors. Visitors arrival are became fewer during Peak winter and rainy seasons.

Nearst railway station is Kathgodam is about 89 km from the Kainchi Dham. Can be  opted Taxi and Buses of UTC. Nearest Airpot is pantnagar is 123 km away by hiring a taxi cab from the airport.

A variety of Hotels and Home Stays are available in the Kasar devi . However, one can stay in Almora city also during peak season of tourism and during vacation when city is overcrowded.
